  7. The Online Slot Management System (OLS) is a combination of equipment and
  8. software that is integrated to provide a comprehensive system for monitoring,
  9. managing, and accounting of slot machine activity. OLS adapts to any
  10. manufacturer's slot/video equipment, can be connected to a host computer on a
  11. full time basis, can be polled over a dial up network, or can be operated by a
  12. local PC networked to a headquarters computer. The frequency of communication
  13. with the machines can be periodic or on demand. If communications should fail,
  14. a diskette may be used to transfer data. OLS tracks eight inputs, five of which
  15. are defaults for meters and exceptions, with three being user defined. OLS
  16. provides the capability to reconcile manual meter readings with electronic data
  17. collection and it has interfaces for coin scales and hand-held data collection
  18. devices. The OLS reporting system provides comprehensive analysis and
  19. accounting of all slot activity.
